Clever San Francisco, CA

Educational publishing has a lot of diverse actors, including textbook publishers and makers of record keeping and curriculum software, and now makers of tablets and apps. Clever has developed a way all of those players to agree to deliver data from a single cloud-based source. The different vendors pay Clever, and Clever offers the service to schools for free. Clever improves class management by enabling teachers to enroll and track students, normally a time-consuming process. Using a so-called “single sign on” process, students can access online resources from different vendors, and teachers can easily log performance among different classes and locations.
